PregnancyJournal Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 1 October 2026
Effective date: 1 October 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the PregnancyJournal iOS application (the "App"), provided by Three Two One Global ("Three Two One Global", "we", "us" or "our").
By downloading, accessing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA"), available at https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. If these Terms conflict with mandatory terms in the Apple Standard EULA, the applicable Apple terms will prevail.
1. What PregnancyJournal provides
PregnancyJournal is a personal organisation and journaling tool. Features may include:
- due-date estimates and pregnancy-week calculations;
- diary notes, check-ins, milestones, appointments and checklists;
- local photo attachments;
- local reminders;
- general week-by-week information and external information links;
- locally generated backups, PDFs and appointment summaries; and
- optional paid features.
Features may differ by device, operating-system version, region and purchase status.
2. Not medical advice
PregnancyJournal does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, monitoring, treatment, risk assessment or emergency services. It is not a medical device and is not a substitute for a midwife, doctor, maternity unit or other qualified healthcare professional.
Due-date and pregnancy-week calculations are estimates only. Pregnancy experiences and clinical dating can differ. Do not use the App to decide whether symptoms are normal, whether labour has started, whether to seek care or how to treat a health concern.
If you have questions or concerns about yourself or your baby, contact your midwife, doctor, maternity unit or another qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, contact the emergency services for your location; in the United Kingdom, call 999.
3. Sensitive circumstances
Pregnancy can involve sensitive, difficult or changing circumstances. The App does not automatically record a birth or make assumptions about the outcome of a pregnancy. You control whether to pause, archive or update a journal.
Language and informational content are provided on a general basis and may not reflect your circumstances. Stop using any feature that you find unhelpful or distressing and seek appropriate personal support where needed.
4. Eligibility
You must be legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. If you are not legally capable of doing so in your country, you may use the App only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.
5. Your journal and acceptable use
You are responsible for the information you enter and for your use of the App. You agree not to:
- use the App unlawfully or to harm, threaten or violate the rights of another person;
- upload content you do not have the right to use;
- attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer or bypass the App's security or purchase controls except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use the App to provide medical services or make clinical decisions; or
- misrepresent App-generated material as medical advice or an official medical record.
You retain ownership of the journal content and photos you add. You grant us no right to use that locally stored content except to the limited extent technically necessary for the App to process it on your device.
6. Local storage, backups and data loss
PregnancyJournal is a local-first app. It does not provide a Three Two One Global account, backend storage or automatic cloud synchronisation in the current version.
You are responsible for protecting your device and creating any backup you wish to keep. Local information may be lost if the App is deleted, a journal is deleted, the device is lost or damaged, storage is corrupted, an operating-system action removes data, or a backup is unavailable or incompatible.
We will take reasonable care in providing the App but cannot guarantee that local data will never be lost or that every backup can be restored. Test important backups and keep exported copies in a location you consider secure.
7. Photos, exports and sharing
You must have the right to store and share any photo, note or other content you add to the App. When you create a PDF, appointment summary, backup or other export, you control where it is sent through Apple's sharing interfaces.
Exports may contain sensitive or health-related information. Check the file and recipient carefully before sharing. We are not responsible for how a recipient or third-party service handles a file after you choose to share it.
8. Free features and paid products
The App may offer free functionality alongside paid products. Current paid products may include:
- PregnancyJournal Pro on a monthly subscription;
- PregnancyJournal Pro on a yearly subscription;
- PregnancyJournal Pro as a one-time lifetime purchase; and
- a separate one-time Unlimited Photos purchase.
The exact products, features and prices shown to you in the App Store purchase screen apply at the time of purchase. Prices are displayed in your App Store currency and may include applicable taxes.
PregnancyJournal Pro may unlock features such as PDF exports, appointment summaries, multiple pregnancy journals, the photo gallery and unlimited total photo attachments. The standalone Unlimited Photos purchase unlocks unlimited total photo attachments only and does not unlock other Pro features. A per-entry photo limit may still apply.
We may change which features are included in free or paid tiers for future users or future versions, provided that we honour applicable consumer law and existing purchase rights.
9. Subscriptions
Monthly and yearly subscriptions are processed by Apple and automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period, subject to Apple's current rules.
Apple charges your Apple Account. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
If a subscription expires or is cancelled, Pro access continues until the end of the paid period and then ends, unless Apple or applicable law provides otherwise. Content you created remains locally stored, but access to paid tools may be limited. Existing photos will not be intentionally deleted solely because Pro expires.
10. One-time purchases
Lifetime Pro and Unlimited Photos are non-consumable, one-time purchases associated with the Apple Account used to buy them. They can be restored where supported by Apple and RevenueCat.
"Lifetime" means access to the relevant purchased features for the supported lifetime of the App, not your lifetime or a guarantee that the App will be available forever. This does not limit rights you have under applicable consumer law.
11. Trials, offers and refunds
If a free trial, introductory price or promotional offer is available, the purchase screen will state its duration, eligibility and renewal price. Do not assume an offer applies unless it is displayed by Apple for your account before confirmation.
Apple processes payments and refund requests. We cannot issue an App Store refund directly. You can request support or a refund from Apple subject to Apple's policies and your legal rights.
12. Restoring purchases
The App includes a Restore Purchases function. Restoration depends on Apple, RevenueCat, the Apple Account used for the original purchase, network availability and the product remaining identifiable. Contact us if a valid purchase does not restore after you have confirmed the correct Apple Account is in use.
13. External content and links
The App may link to NHS pages or other third-party resources. External content is provided for convenience and remains the responsibility of its publisher. Links may change or stop working, and we do not control or endorse every statement on an external website.
PregnancyJournal is not operated by, affiliated with or endorsed by the NHS, Apple or RevenueCat. References to those organisations identify sources or service providers only.
14. Intellectual property
The App, its software, design, branding and original content are owned by or licensed to Three Two One Global and are protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the App for its intended personal purpose, subject to the Apple Standard EULA.
No right is granted to use the Three Two One Global or PregnancyJournal names, logos or branding except as necessary to use the App normally.
15. App availability and changes
We may maintain, update, change, suspend or discontinue parts of the App. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, compatibility with every future iOS version, or permanent availability of external links or third-party services.
We may issue updates that are reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, purchase compatibility or continued operation. Some features may stop working if you do not install an available update.
16. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the App at any time. You may delete individual journals through the App and delete the App through iOS.
We may restrict access to the App or paid services where reasonably necessary to address fraud, unlawful use, security risks, material breach of these Terms or a legal requirement. Because the App has no Three Two One Global user account in the current version, we cannot remotely delete journal content stored only on your device.
17. Our responsibility
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or your mandatory consumer rights.
Subject to the above, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you agreed to these Terms, losses caused by events outside our reasonable control, or business losses arising from personal use of the App.
The App is provided as a personal journaling and organisation tool. You remain responsible for healthcare decisions, device security, backups and checking exports before sharing.
18. Indemnity for unlawful use
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for claims, losses or costs arising from your unlawful misuse of the App or your infringement of another person's rights. This section does not reduce any rights you have as a consumer.
19. Privacy
Our PregnancyJournal Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and forms part of these Terms. It is available at:
https://threetwooneglobal.com/apps/pregnancy-journal/privacy
20. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when the App, law or our services change. We will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App or on our website. If a change materially affects your rights, it will apply prospectively to the extent required by law.
21. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you also retain the protection of mandatory laws in the country where you live and may be entitled to bring proceedings in your local courts.
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from using an applicable consumer dispute process or regulator.
22. General terms
If a court finds part of these Terms unenforceable, the remaining parts will continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a right does not waive that right. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our permission, but we may transfer our rights and obligations where this does not reduce your consumer protections.
