This Privacy Policy explains how Cat Health Tracker (the "App"), operated by Three Two One Global Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information when you use the App and related support, privacy, and terms pages on threetwooneglobal.com.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who operates the App
Cat Health Tracker is operated by Three Two One Global Ltd.
This policy applies to users of the App on iPhone and iPad and to visitors to related support, privacy, and terms pages on our website.
The App is a pet-care organisation and tracking tool. It is not a veterinary clinic, diagnostic service, or substitute for professional veterinary advice.
2. Information you enter into the App
Cat Health Tracker does not require you to create an account or sign in to Three Two One Global in order to use core tracking features. We do not operate a custom backend for your cat-care records.
Most information you enter into the App is stored locally on your device. Depending on how you use the App, this may include:
- Cat profile information (for example name, photo, age or breed details you choose to enter)
- Daily care and activity logs (for example food, water, litter, medication, symptoms and similar entries)
- Weight entries and related chart or history information
- Care schedules, due items, reminders and notification preferences
- Diary, health history and recent-activity information generated from your entries
- Photos or attachments you choose to add where those features are available
- Other in-app settings and preferences
This information is provided by you. You control what you enter. Deleting the App from your device generally removes locally stored App data, subject to platform backup behaviour described below.
3. Local / on-device storage
Cat Health Tracker is designed primarily around local, on-device storage. We do not require you to upload your cat profiles, care logs, weight history, medication schedules or related records to Three Two One Global servers merely to use the App.
Based on the App's current architecture, Three Two One Global does not receive or store your locally saved cat-health and care records on company servers as part of ordinary App use.
If you use Apple device backup or migration features, your platform provider may include App data in backups according to your account and device settings. We do not control those third-party backup systems.
Where the App provides export or backup features that you choose to use, exported files are created under your control on your device (or in locations you select). We do not automatically receive those exports.
If our practices change in a material way regarding how App data is stored or synchronised, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required by law, provide additional notice.
4. Notifications
The App may send local reminders to help you keep track of care that is due, such as medication or other scheduled care. These reminders are scheduled on your device when you enable notifications.
We do not use a custom push-notification backend for Cat Health Tracker at this time. You can enable or disable notifications in the App and in your device notification settings.
5. Purchases and subscriptions
The App may offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions that unlock additional features. Where purchases are available, payment is processed by Apple through the App Store / StoreKit. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
Where we use a purchase-management service provider such as RevenueCat to help manage in-app purchase status, restore purchases and unlock entitlements, that provider may process information such as:
- An app user identifier associated with the installation / purchase context
- Device and operating system information (for example device type and OS version)
- App Store purchase and subscription data (product identifiers, entitlement status, renewal / expiration information, and related receipt or transaction metadata)
- Timestamps and technical events related to checking or updating subscription status
That information is used to provide purchase functionality, prevent fraud / abuse of entitlements, and support restore flows — not to sell advertising based on your cat-care records. Where RevenueCat is used, it processes data under its own terms and privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple also processes purchase-related data under Apple's privacy terms. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple's policies.
6. Product analytics
Where product analytics is enabled in a future App version, we may use product analytics services, including PostHog, to help us understand how the App is used and improve its features, performance and user experience.
Where product analytics is enabled, PostHog may process information such as product interactions and feature usage, app events, screen or session usage information, app version and platform, device model or type, operating system and version, pseudonymous user or account identifiers, app installation or device identifiers, subscription status, and similar usage data.
We would use this information for analytics, understanding product usage, maintaining and improving features, performance and product improvement, and improving the user experience. We do not use PostHog for behavioural advertising or to sell personal information.
We do not intentionally send cat-profile details, care logs, medication notes, weight history, photos or other sensitive pet-care records to PostHog through the product-analytics integration described in this policy.
Where applicable, PostHog acts as a service provider/processor on our behalf. Information is handled in accordance with PostHog's privacy and security practices: https://posthog.com/privacy
7. Advertising
Cat Health Tracker does not use Google AdMob or other third-party advertising SDKs in the App version described by this policy.
We do not use the App to sell personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
8. Device and technical information
Depending on how you use the App and which third-party SDKs are used, the App or its service providers may process technical information such as:
- Device type, model, and operating system version
- App version and build information
- Language and locale settings
- Crash, diagnostic, or performance information if collected through installed SDKs
- Network connectivity information needed to validate purchases or operate optional online features
9. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide cat-care organisation and tracking features on your device
- Display care logs, schedules, reminders, weight history and related history views based on your inputs
- Save your preferences and notification settings on your device
- Validate and manage in-app purchases and entitlements through Apple and, where used, purchase-management providers
- Understand App usage and improve features, performance and user experience where product analytics is enabled
- Operate, secure and improve the App
- Respond to support, privacy or legal enquiries you send us by email
- Comply with legal obligations where applicable
We do not sell your personal information.
10. Third-party services
The App may rely on third-party services that process information under their own terms and privacy policies, including:
- Apple (App Store distribution, StoreKit, device OS features and local notifications)
- Purchase-management providers such as RevenueCat, where used
- PostHog (product analytics), where product analytics is enabled
We are not responsible for third-party practices outside our reasonable control.
11. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the App — including Apple and, where used, purchase-management providers — only as needed for those services.
Where product analytics is enabled, we may also share limited technical and usage information with PostHog as a service provider, as described above, only as needed for product analytics and improvement.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect rights, safety and security.
12. Data retention
- Cat profiles, care logs, weight entries, schedules and related records stored on your device generally remain until you delete them in the App, clear App storage, or delete the App.
- Support emails are retained for as long as reasonably needed to resolve your request and meet legal obligations.
- Apple and any purchase-management or analytics providers may retain purchase, entitlement, analytics or diagnostic records according to their own retention practices and legal requirements.
13. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to a consumer pet-care tracking app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age is required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under those ages. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us by email, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
15. International transfers
Apple and, where used, purchase-management or analytics providers such as RevenueCat or PostHog may process data in the United States or other countries outside your own, including outside the United Kingdom. Those transfers are governed by the relevant provider's terms and applicable transfer mechanisms.
16. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)
If UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process personal data on these bases as applicable:
- Contract / steps prior to contract — to provide App features and purchase entitlements you request
- Legitimate interests — to operate and secure the App, prevent abuse, understand product usage where analytics is enabled, and improve reliability in ways that do not override your rights
- Consent — where required for certain processing, which you may withdraw through available controls
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law
17. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including in the United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to or restrict certain processing, obtain a copy of your information, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Because cat-care records may be stored on your device, many access or deletion requests for that data can be exercised by deleting items in the App or deleting the App from your device.
To exercise rights relating to information we hold via support email, contact [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.
18. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective / last updated date above. Continued use of the App after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy to the extent permitted by law. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before material changes take effect.
