Granting photo-library access

When prompted, allow Snap Clean to access the photos it needs. You can change or revoke access later in iOS Settings. Limited photo access only includes the items you select.

Understanding limited photo access

If you grant limited access, Snap Clean can only scan and organise the photos and videos you chose. Features that need a broader library view may be incomplete until you grant fuller access.

Screenshots and possible duplicates

Browse categories such as screenshots, possible duplicates, videos and other photos. Possible duplicate detection is an organisational aid and may flag similar but non-identical media — always review before deleting.

Swipe left versus swipe right

Swipe right to Keep a photo in your review flow. Swipe left to Queue it for deletion. Queueing does not delete the item by itself.

Reviewing and undoing the deletion queue

Open the deletion queue to check queued items and undo selections before you confirm cleanup.

Confirming cleanup and Recently Deleted

Confirm cleanup only when you are sure. The App uses Apple's Photos deletion process. Items normally appear in Recently Deleted, subject to iOS behaviour. We cannot remotely recover deleted photos.

iCloud Photos behaviour

If iCloud Photos is enabled, deletions can synchronise across devices using the same library. Snap Clean does not operate a separate backup or recovery service.

Cleanup history and free swipe limits

View previous cleanup sessions and progress in the App. The free experience allows 15 photo-review swipes per day, subject to the App's implemented limit and reset behaviour.

Snap Clean Pro and Restore Purchases

Pro unlocks unlimited review swipes. If an eligible purchase does not appear, use Restore Purchases and confirm you are signed in with the same Apple Account used to buy. Refunds are handled by Apple.
