Snap Clean Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
Effective date: 11 October 2026
Snap Clean (the "App") is provided by Three Two One Global Ltd ("Three Two One Global", "we", "us" or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Snap Clean iOS application.
Snap Clean is a photo-library organisation and cleanup utility for iPhone. It is designed to help you review accessible photos and videos, organise them into categories, decide what to keep or queue for deletion, and confirm cleanup under your control.
You do not need to create a Snap Clean account. Photo and video analysis for organisation and cleanup is designed to take place locally on your device. Photos are not uploaded to Three Two One Global servers for analysis.
1. Photo-library access
Snap Clean requests access to your iPhone photo library through Apple's permission system so it can scan and organise media you allow the App to access.
Access is required to:
- scan photos and videos you have permitted the App to access;
- organise accessible media into categories such as screenshots, possible duplicates, videos and other photos;
- support swipe-based Keep and Queue decisions;
- show a deletion queue for review; and
- request deletion through Apple's Photos functionality after you confirm cleanup.
Depending on your iOS settings and the permission you grant, you may allow full photo-library access or limited photo selection. Snap Clean can only work with the photos and videos Apple makes available under the permission you grant. If you grant limited access, the App cannot access photos outside that selection.
You can change or revoke photo access in iOS Settings. Revoking or limiting access may stop or reduce scanning, categorisation, review and deletion features.
2. Local photo processing and App information
Depending on how you use Snap Clean, information may include:
- photos and videos accessible under the permission you grant;
- related media metadata used for organisation (such as media type, creation information or similar device-provided attributes);
- category assignments such as screenshots, possible duplicates, videos and other photos;
- possible-duplicate grouping signals generated on your device;
- Keep and Queue swipe decisions;
- deletion-queue contents before confirmation;
- cleanup session history and progress information stored by the App; and
- App preferences and related local state.
Photo and video analysis for categorisation, possible-duplicate identification and swipe review is designed to run locally on your iPhone. Three Two One Global does not operate a Snap Clean cloud service that receives your camera-roll media for remote analysis, storage or AI processing.
We distinguish between (a) local media-processing and cleanup state on your device, and (b) purchase or technical information that may be processed off-device by Apple (and any purchase-management provider actually used for the App) so paid features can work.
3. Deletion queues and Apple Photos behaviour
Swiping to Queue an item marks it for possible deletion. Queueing alone does not delete the item.
You can review queued items and undo selections before confirming cleanup. Deletion requires your explicit confirmation.
When you confirm cleanup, the App uses Apple's Photos deletion functionality. Removed items normally move to Apple's Recently Deleted album, subject to iOS behaviour and your device or iCloud Photos settings.
Permanent deletion, recovery windows and whether media can be restored are controlled by Apple Photos, your device settings and, where applicable, iCloud Photos — not by a separate Snap Clean recovery service. We do not guarantee that deleted photos or videos can be restored.
Uninstalling Snap Clean does not automatically delete, restore or modify photographs already in your Apple Photos library or Recently Deleted album.
4. Purchases and Apple In-App Purchase
The free experience allows a limited number of photo-review swipes per day (currently described as 15 swipes per day, subject to the limit and reset behaviour implemented in the App). Snap Clean Pro unlocks unlimited review swipes where an eligible purchase is active.
Paid unlock options, where offered in the App Store purchase screen, may include a monthly subscription, a yearly subscription and/or a lifetime purchase. Exact products, prices and availability are shown by Apple at the time of purchase. Payment is processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. We do not receive your payment-card details.
Apple processes purchase and transaction information under Apple's terms so paid features and Restore Purchases can work. Depending on how you buy or restore Pro, Apple may process information such as:
- Apple Account identifiers associated with the purchase;
- product and transaction identifiers;
- purchase receipts and related receipt/product information;
- entitlement and subscription or lifetime purchase status;
- App Store region, platform and device-related technical information; and
- information used for purchase validation, restoration and fraud prevention.
If a third-party purchase-management provider is used for Snap Clean to manage products and entitlements, that provider may also process anonymous purchase/customer identifiers, receipts, entitlement status and related purchase diagnostics. Where such a provider is active for Snap Clean, we will identify it by name in this Privacy Policy.
Purchase and entitlement information is separate from your photos and local cleanup decisions. Apple's privacy practices are described in Apple's Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
5. Accounts, analytics and tracking
Snap Clean does not require a Three Two One Global account, login or cloud profile.
Snap Clean is not intended to upload camera-roll media to Three Two One Global servers for analysis, advertising targeting or remote AI processing.
If advertising, analytics or crash-reporting practices are introduced or confirmed for Snap Clean, we will update this Privacy Policy. Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store and purchase information under Apple's own terms.
6. Data retention and deletion
Cleanup history, progress information, queue state and related App preferences are stored locally on your device while the App remains installed, unless you clear them in the App where that option is available.
Deleting the App, clearing App data or losing the device without a usable backup may permanently remove local Snap Clean App state. That does not by itself restore or permanently erase items already handled through Apple Photos.
Purchase and entitlement records are retained by Apple (and any purchase-management provider actually used) under their own retention practices for as long as needed to provide purchases, restorations, fraud prevention and legal compliance.
If you contact support, we retain correspondence for as long as reasonably needed to respond, maintain support records and meet legal obligations.
7. Data sharing and service providers
We do not sell your photos. Limited information may be processed by providers that help operate the App:
- Apple — App Store distribution, StoreKit payments, Photos framework / Recently Deleted behaviour, device operating-system features and related platform services; and
- any purchase-management provider actually used for Snap Clean entitlements, once identified in this Privacy Policy.
These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps appropriate to the nature of the App. Because photo analysis is designed to remain on your device, protecting your iPhone with a passcode, Face ID or Touch ID and keeping iOS updated remain important. No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law (including UK data-protection law), you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability in respect of personal data we control, and to complain to a supervisory authority such as the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
Because Snap Clean does not operate a Three Two One Global account or photo-analysis backend, we cannot remotely access, export or delete local App content or Apple Photos media from your device. For local App data, use in-App controls where available or delete the App. For photos and Recently Deleted items, use Apple Photos and iOS Settings. For purchase records, use Apple Account / App Store tools and contact us if you need help with an entitlement enquiry.
10. Children's privacy
Snap Clean is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through a Three Two One Global account or backend. The App does not ask for a date of birth. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms in your country, use the App only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required.
11. International processing
Apple and any other service providers used for purchases or platform services may process information in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area, United States or other countries. Where required, appropriate safeguards apply under applicable law and the provider's terms.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The last-updated date appears at the top. Material changes will be indicated by updating that date and, where appropriate, providing additional notice in the App or on our website.
