Earn Screen Time: App Blocker Privacy Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
Effective date: 3 October 2026
Earn Screen Time: App Blocker ("Earn Access") is provided by Three Two One Global Ltd ("Three Two One Global", "we", "us" or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Earn Access iOS application (the "App").
Earn Access is designed as a local-first intentional screen-time app. You do not need to create an Earn Access account, and the App does not use a Three Two One Global backend to store your habits, earned minutes or locked-app selections.
1. Information Earn Access uses
Depending on how you use Earn Access, information may include:
- habits you create (such as name, icon, category, reward minutes and completion history);
- earned and spent screen-time balances and related daily summaries;
- optional goals and onboarding answers you choose to provide;
- settings such as Morning Lock preferences and temporary unlock session state;
- Screen Time / Family Controls selections you make so the App can restrict apps you choose; and
- purchase and entitlement information processed by Apple and RevenueCat when you buy or restore Earn Access Pro.
We distinguish between (a) App content and settings stored on your device, and (b) purchase / technical information processed by Apple and RevenueCat so paid features can work.
2. Information stored on your device
Habits, earned and spent minute state, goals, onboarding answers, Morning Lock settings and unlock-session state are stored locally on your iPhone using on-device storage (including files in the App's Documents directory and UserDefaults).
Selected apps for Screen Time restriction are represented through Apple's Family Controls privacy-preserving mechanisms (including opaque application tokens) and stored on your device so the App and its Screen Time extension can apply and remove shields.
Limited non-token snapshot information (such as habit names and counts) and unlock-session state may also be shared with the App's Device Activity Monitor extension through an App Group on the same device. That information stays on your device and is not uploaded to a Three Two One Global server.
Three Two One Global does not receive or store your habit list, earned-minute ledger or locked-app selections on its servers. Deleting the App, clearing App data or losing the device without a usable device backup may permanently remove local information.
3. Screen Time and Family Controls
Earn Access uses Apple's Screen Time technologies — including Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity — so you can choose apps to restrict and temporarily unlock them with earned minutes.
You grant Screen Time authorisation through Apple's system prompts. The App can then apply shields to the apps you select and schedule temporary unlock periods. When an unlock period ends, the selected apps are restricted again.
Apple's Family Controls architecture is designed so developers work with privacy-preserving application tokens rather than unrestricted access to the contents of other apps. Earn Access does not claim, and does not receive through these APIs, normal unrestricted access to:
- your browsing history;
- messages;
- passwords;
- photos or files inside other apps; or
- the personal content of apps you choose to block.
You can change or revoke Screen Time permissions in iOS Settings. Doing so may limit or stop Earn Access restriction and unlock features.
4. Purchases and RevenueCat
Optional Earn Access Pro is a one-time non-consumable lifetime purchase processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment-card details.
We use RevenueCat to manage products, purchase status and entitlements (including whether Earn Access Pro is active) and to support Restore Purchases. Apple and RevenueCat may process information such as:
- an anonymous App User ID;
- product and transaction identifiers;
- purchase receipts;
- entitlement and purchase status;
- App Store region, platform and device-related information; and
- purchase-related diagnostic information.
We use this information to provide purchased features, restore purchases, prevent entitlement errors and support purchase-related enquiries. RevenueCat and Apple process information under their own privacy terms:
- RevenueCat Privacy Policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy
- Apple Privacy Policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
5. Analytics, advertising and tracking
The current version of Earn Access does not include third-party advertising SDKs, App Tracking Transparency prompts or separate product-analytics SDKs such as PostHog or Firebase Analytics.
Apple may provide developers with aggregated App Store and purchase information under Apple's own terms. RevenueCat provides purchase and entitlement information as described above.
6. Data sharing and service providers
We do not sell your habit content or Screen Time selections. Limited information is processed by service providers that help operate the App:
- Apple — App Store distribution, StoreKit payments, Screen Time / Family Controls and device operating-system features; and
- RevenueCat — purchase and entitlement management.
If you email us for support, we receive the information you choose to send in that message.
7. Data retention
Local App information remains on your device until you delete it in the App, delete the App, erase the device or otherwise clear App data.
Because there is no Earn Access account or Three Two One Global habit server, we cannot remotely access, recover or delete local App content from your device.
Information processed by Apple or RevenueCat is retained according to their policies and legal obligations. Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to respond and keep an appropriate record of the enquiry.
8. Children's privacy
Earn Access is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children through a Three Two One Global account or backend. The App does not ask for a date of birth. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms in your country, use the App only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical measures appropriate to a local-first app that relies on Apple platform features. No device or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, passcode and Screen Time authorisation settings.
10. Your choices
You can:
- edit or delete habits and related local settings in the App;
- change which apps are selected for restriction;
- revoke Screen Time authorisation in iOS Settings;
- restore eligible purchases through Restore Purchases; and
- contact us about privacy questions using the details below.
Most habit and Screen Time selection information is held only on your device and is not accessible to us. For purchase information handled through Apple or RevenueCat, you may also need to contact Apple or RevenueCat.
11. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, legal requirements or our practices. We will change the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide notice in the App or on our website.
