This Privacy Policy explains how Compound Interest: Calculator (the "App"), operated by Three Two One Global Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), handles information when you use the App and related support, privacy, and terms pages on threetwooneglobal.com.
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who operates the App
Compound Interest: Calculator is operated by Three Two One Global Ltd.
This policy applies to users of the App on iPhone and iPad and to visitors to related support, privacy, and terms pages on our website.
The App is a financial calculation and planning tool. It is not a bank, investment platform, brokerage, or regulated financial-advice service.
2. Information you enter into the calculator
You may enter financial assumptions into the App in order to model compound growth. Depending on how you use the App, these inputs may include:
- Starting amount / principal
- Contribution amounts and contribution frequency
- Interest rate
- Investment duration (for example years and months)
- Compounding frequency
- Inflation assumptions
- Contribution-increase assumptions
- Currency display preference
- Other calculator settings and advanced assumptions you choose to enter
These values are calculator inputs and assumptions that you supply for modelling purposes. They are not bank-account balances, transaction histories, or credentials obtained by linking a financial institution.
The App does not require you to connect a bank account merely to perform calculations. The App does not collect bank login details, payment-card numbers used for banking, or live account balances from financial institutions in order to run a calculation.
3. Saved plans and calculation scenarios
The App may allow you to save calculation scenarios or planning results (for example a saved plan) and, where available, compare scenarios.
We do not require you to upload calculator inputs to Three Two One Global servers merely to perform a calculation. Depending on the App version and your device settings, saved plans and related preferences may be stored on your device.
If you use Apple device backup or migration features, your platform provider may include App data in backups according to your account and device settings. We do not control those third-party backup systems.
If our practices change in a material way regarding how saved plans are stored or synchronised, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required by law, provide additional notice.
4. Purchases, subscriptions, and RevenueCat
The App may offer optional in-app purchases or subscriptions that unlock features such as saving plans or comparing scenarios. Payment is processed by Apple through the App Store / StoreKit. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.
We use RevenueCat as a service provider to help manage in-app purchase status, restore purchases, and unlock entitlements. RevenueCat may process information such as:
- An app user identifier associated with the installation / purchase context
- Device and operating system information (for example device type and OS version)
- App Store purchase and subscription data (product identifiers, entitlement status, renewal / expiration information, and related receipt or transaction metadata)
- Timestamps and technical events related to checking or updating subscription status
This information is used to provide purchase functionality, prevent fraud / abuse of entitlements, and support restore flows — not to sell advertising based on your calculator inputs. RevenueCat processes data under its own terms and privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
Apple also processes purchase-related data under Apple's privacy terms. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple's policies.
5. Product analytics
We use PostHog as a product analytics service provider to help us understand how the App is used and to improve its features, performance and user experience.
PostHog may process product interaction and technical information such as:
- Product interactions and feature usage
- App events
- Screen names and session / activity information
- App version and platform
- Device model or type and operating system / version
- Pseudonymous user, account, installation, or device identifiers
- Subscription or entitlement status where applicable
- Similar usage data needed for product analytics
We use this information for analytics, understanding product usage, maintaining and improving features, performance and product improvement, and improving the user experience. We do not use PostHog for behavioural advertising or to sell personal information.
We do not intentionally send bank credentials, payment-card details, photos, or other sensitive financial-account credentials to PostHog through the product-analytics integration described in this policy.
PostHog acts as a service provider/processor on our behalf. Information is handled in accordance with PostHog's privacy and security practices: https://posthog.com/privacy
6. Advertising
Compound Interest: Calculator does not use Google AdMob or other third-party advertising SDKs in the App version described by this policy.
We do not use the App to sell personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
7. Device and technical information
Depending on how you use the App and which third-party SDKs are used, the App or its service providers may process technical information such as:
- Device type, model, and operating system version
- App version and build information
- Language and locale settings
- Crash, diagnostic, or performance information if collected through installed SDKs
- Network connectivity information needed to validate purchases or operate optional online features
8. How we use information
We use information to:
- Provide compound-interest calculations and related planning features
- Display projected balances, contributions, interest estimates, charts, and year-by-year breakdowns based on your inputs
- Save and compare calculation scenarios where those features are available
- Validate and manage in-app purchases and entitlements through Apple and RevenueCat
- Understand App usage and improve features, performance and user experience through product analytics
- Operate, secure, and improve the App
- Respond to support, privacy, or legal enquiries you send us by email
- Comply with legal obligations where applicable
We do not sell your personal information.
9. Third-party services
The App may rely on third-party services that process information under their own terms and privacy policies, including:
- Apple (App Store distribution, StoreKit, and device OS features)
- RevenueCat (purchase and entitlement management)
- PostHog (product analytics)
We are not responsible for third-party practices outside our reasonable control.
10. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the App — including Apple, RevenueCat, and PostHog — only as needed for those services.
We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or enforceable governmental request, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
11. Data retention
- Calculator inputs and saved plans stored on your device generally remain until you delete them in the App, clear App storage, or delete the App.
- Support emails are retained for as long as reasonably needed to resolve your request and meet legal obligations.
- Apple, RevenueCat, and PostHog may retain purchase, entitlement, analytics, or diagnostic records according to their own retention practices and legal requirements.
12. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to a consumer financial-calculator app. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
13. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where a higher age is required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under those ages. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us by email, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
14. International transfers
Apple, RevenueCat, PostHog, and other service providers may process data in the United States or other countries outside your own, including outside the United Kingdom. Those transfers are governed by the relevant provider's terms and applicable transfer mechanisms.
15. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)
If UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process personal data on these bases as applicable:
- Contract / steps prior to contract — to provide calculator features and purchase entitlements you request
- Legitimate interests — to operate and secure the App, prevent abuse, understand product usage, and improve reliability in ways that do not override your rights
- Consent — where required for certain processing, which you may withdraw through available controls
- Legal obligation — where we must retain or disclose information to comply with law
16. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including in the United Kingdom, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, object to or restrict certain processing, obtain a copy of your information, or withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
Because calculator inputs and saved plans may be stored on your device, many access or deletion requests for that data can be exercised by deleting items in the App or deleting the App from your device.
To exercise rights relating to information we hold via support email, contact [email protected]. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority where you live (for example the Information Commissioner's Office in the UK).
17. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective / last updated date above. Continued use of the App after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy to the extent permitted by law.
