Terms of Service
Last updated: 24 October 2026
Welcome to Borrowed. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Borrowed mobile application and related services operated by Three Two One Global Ltd ("we", "our", or "us").
By creating an account or using Borrowed, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the app.
1. Eligibility
By using Borrowed, you confirm that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction. If you are not legally able to agree to these Terms where you live, use Borrowed only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information.
- Keep your login credentials secure.
- Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.
- Accept responsibility for activity carried out using your account.
You may sign in using Apple Sign In or email and password.
3. Using Borrowed
Borrowed allows users to upload clothing items, organise wardrobes, create Circles, arrange borrowing requests with other users, and communicate with eligible Circle members through Circle Chat.
You are responsible for all content you upload, all messages you send, and all borrowing arrangements you make through the app.
Borrowed is a platform only.
We are not a party to agreements between users and are not responsible for disputes arising from borrowing or lending items.
4. Circle Chat
Borrowed provides a private group messaging feature called Circle Chat. Circle Chat allows eligible members of the same Circle to communicate with each other.
You are responsible for the messages and other content you submit through Circle Chat and for ensuring that you have the right to submit and share that content.
Circle Chat must not be used to send, promote, request, facilitate or distribute content or activity that is unlawful; threatening or seriously abusive; harassing or bullying; hateful or discriminatory; sexually exploitative; related to child sexual abuse or exploitation; intended to groom or exploit another person; fraudulent or deceptive; supportive of terrorism or violent extremism; designed to facilitate criminal activity; encouraging or assisting suicide or serious self-harm; infringing another person's intellectual-property, privacy or other legal rights; malicious or designed to interfere with Borrowed or another user's device or account; or otherwise prohibited by applicable law.
You must not use Circle Chat to impersonate another person, obtain unauthorised access to another user's information, send spam, attempt to circumvent Borrowed's safety controls, or use automated or modified clients to bypass restrictions imposed by the service.
Your content
You retain ownership of content that you submit through Circle Chat.
By submitting content, you grant Three Two One Global Ltd a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, transmit, display and otherwise process that content only to the extent reasonably necessary to operate Borrowed, deliver the content to the intended Circle members, maintain and secure the service, investigate reports, enforce these Terms and comply with applicable law.
This licence does not transfer ownership of your content to us.
You are responsible for ensuring that content you submit does not infringe another person's rights.
Privacy of Circle Chat
Circle Chat is designed for communication between members of a private Circle, but you should not treat it as a guarantee of confidentiality.
Other Circle members may copy, screenshot, photograph, forward or otherwise share content they receive. Three Two One Global Ltd cannot control or accept responsibility for what another user independently does with content after receiving it.
You should not use Circle Chat to store passwords, payment credentials or other information that requires a highly confidential communication channel.
Filtering and moderation
Borrowed may use automated systems to detect or prevent certain prohibited or objectionable messages.
These systems cannot identify every possible violation. The existence of filtering does not mean that Three Two One Global Ltd has reviewed or approved messages that successfully appear in Circle Chat.
We are not required to proactively read every message.
Where we become aware of content that may breach these Terms or applicable law, including through a user report, we may investigate and take proportionate action. Depending on the circumstances, this may include restricting content or access, removing content or data where appropriate, terminating an account, preserving relevant records where legally permitted or required, or referring information to competent authorities where required by law or reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity.
Reporting content
Users can report Circle Chat messages using the reporting feature provided within Borrowed.
Reports should be made in good faith. You should not knowingly make false or malicious reports about another user.
You may also contact Three Two One Global Ltd regarding illegal, harmful or otherwise prohibited use of Borrowed at:
We will assess reports and complaints and may take action where we reasonably consider that a breach of these Terms or applicable law has occurred.
If you believe that we have incorrectly handled a report or taken action against your content or account in error, you may contact the same address and provide sufficient information for us to review the matter.
Blocking users
Circle Chat allows you to block another Circle member from your Chat experience.
Blocking is currently specific to Circle Chat. It does not remove that person from the Circle and does not necessarily prevent you from seeing their profile, wardrobe items or other content elsewhere within Borrowed.
Enforcement
We may take reasonable action where we believe that Circle Chat is being used in breach of these Terms, to harm other users, to compromise the security of Borrowed, or to engage in unlawful activity.
Serious or repeated violations may result in restrictions or termination of access to Borrowed.
Nothing in these Terms prevents us from complying with a valid legal request, court order or other obligation imposed on Three Two One Global Ltd by applicable law.
No emergency communications
Borrowed is not an emergency communications service and Circle Chat should not be relied upon to contact emergency services or obtain urgent assistance.
If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service directly.
5. User Content
You retain ownership of the content you upload, including:
- Clothing photos
- Item descriptions
- Profile information
- Wardrobe content
- Circle Chat messages and other content you submit through Circle Chat
By uploading content, you grant Three Two One Global Ltd a limited licence to store, process and display that content solely for the purpose of operating Borrowed. Circle Chat content is also subject to the limited licence described in Section 4.
You confirm that you have the right to upload any content you submit.
6. Community Standards
You agree not to:
- Upload unlawful or offensive content.
- Upload content that infringes another person's intellectual property rights.
- Harass, threaten or abuse other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to Borrowed or its systems.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the service.
- Use Borrowed for fraudulent or illegal purposes.
Additional Circle Chat rules are set out in Section 4. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Borrowing & Lending
Borrowed helps users coordinate borrowing between trusted members of a Circle.
Borrowed does not:
- Guarantee that items will be returned.
- Guarantee item condition.
- Guarantee delivery or collection.
- Verify ownership of uploaded items.
- Resolve disputes between users.
Users remain solely responsible for any borrowing arrangements they make.
8. Availability
We aim to keep Borrowed available and reliable.
However, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access and may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates or technical issues.
9. Subscriptions
Certain features may require a paid subscription.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store on iOS and by Google through Google Play on Android.
Payments, renewals, cancellations and refunds are handled by the store through which you subscribed and are subject to that store's terms and policies.
You manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID account (iOS) or your Google Play account (Android), according to where you subscribed.
10. Intellectual Property
Borrowed, including its branding, design, logos, software and original content, is owned by Three Two One Global Ltd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, distribute or modify any part of Borrowed without our written permission.
11. Privacy
Your use of Borrowed is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
Please review the Privacy Policy to understand how we collect and use your information.
Borrowed may use third-party service providers, including product analytics services such as PostHog where enabled, to help us understand use of the service, maintain and improve functionality, and improve the user experience. Processing of personal information in connection with these services is described in the Privacy Policy.

15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.

Continued use of Borrowed after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
